My poor car!!!

I'm on my on my way home from work on Thursday the 2nd of July 2009 to enjoy my long weekend. I was stopped at the red light on Oak and Stockton. Those of you not in or from Jacksonville will not know this corner. Then again you may not even if you are in or from Jacksonville. It's a small corner. Anyway, I was stopped at the red, and I saw a chevy pickup stop behind me. So I am sitting there waiting for the light to change and WHAM!!! my head flies forward and my car jumps. I'm thinking WTF... I look back wondering what's going on. These are the pictures of WTF happend....

Full view of the bumper. You can see where he hit me harder on the left than the right. You can also see that the trunk does not close completely.

See how the trunk is askew from the tail light lense.

This is the latch to keep the trunk closed. You can see that it is broken. I can't close my trunk.

This picture also shows how the tail light lense is askew and you can see how the side panel is not in the right place. Of course the picture here does not do it justice.

So after all that when I pulled to the side of the road the kid, and I say kid cuz I don't know how old he is but probably in his 20's... he said "my foot slipped off the brake." I'm thinking it hit the gas when it happend. He was stopped behind me. I saw him stop there. He must have hit the gas in order to do this much damage. It sucks!! I want my car back in the shape it was already in. I was almost to my 3 year mark. I bought the car on July 5th 2006. It is a sad day for my car.

Don't worry bout me though I am fine.
