Round 3 cancelled...

Brian had an MRI on February 15th, and was scheduled to start his third round of chemo on Februaray 22nd. We anxiously awaited that day as we would also find out the results of the MRI.

We were just a few minutes late for our appointment, and ended up waiting a little longer than usual. Brian did his usual ritual on the first day of chemo; which is to have his blood work, and viatals taken. We were then placed in the exam room to wait for Dr. Thomas.

When he came in he asked the usual questions... How are you feeling? Do you have any pain? Are you still able to work? Then came the bad/good news... Good news no chemo that day or week. Bad news... the tumors are still growing. Needless to say Monday February 22, 2010 was not a good day for the Tow Family.

So whats next...

Dr. Thomas is referring Brian to a specialist at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa Florida. His appointment is March 24th at 8 am.

So we sit and wait for the next piece of this not so pleasant puzzle...
